    The Commissioning Process

    Step 1: Initial Consultation

Start the journey by reaching out via email, phone, or an online form. Share your vision, ideas, and any inspirations. Christophe will discuss your goals, preferred materials, size, and the intended location. If possible, an on-site visit will be arranged, or alternatively, you may provide photographs of the space. This step helps define the project’s scope and creative direction.

    Step 2: Concept Development

Christophe will create initial sketches, clay maquettes, or digital representations based on your input. You’ll have the opportunity to review and refine the design, ensuring the final piece aligns perfectly with your vision.

Step 3: Material Selection & Budgeting

Whether it’s sandstone, bronze, or stainless steel, Christophe selects only the finest materials, often verified by a structural engineer for durability. A detailed cost estimate, covering materials, labor, shipping, and installation, will be provided. A 50% deposit is required to commence work.

Step 4: Formal Quotation & Timeline

A formal agreement will outline the project scope, payment terms, and estimated timeline. Depending on complexity, completion may take anywhere from six weeks to four months.

    Step 5: Creation & Craftsmanship

With the design finalized, Christophe meticulously handcrafts each sculpture in his studio, combining traditional sculpting techniques with modern innovations such as lost-wax casting, 3D scanning, and digital modeling. You’ll receive progress updates, including photos, allowing for minor refinements if needed.

    Step 6: Finishing & Authentication

Before completion, all metal and sandstone surfaces are carefully inspected. A protective sealant is applied to outdoor pieces for longevity. Each sculpture is engraved with an authentication reference number, Christophe’s signature, and an official certification mark. Final images are shared for approval before delivery.

    Step 7: Delivery & Installation

Sculptures are professionally packed in custom wooden crates for secure transport. Shipping is arranged through trusted couriers, with delivery costs outlined upfront. For large-scale installations, expert teams can be coordinated for seamless placement. Local collection is also available.

Step 8: Aftercare & Ongoing Support

To preserve the beauty of your sculpture, Christophe provides detailed maintenance guidelines. Should you require future cleaning, repairs, or relocation assistance, ongoing support is always available.
